Kimberly Green, CMP, MPH, CHES
I named my business "Tailor-Made" because that term really describes the kind of bodywork that I do and that I believe best serves my clients.
To design a session just for you, I start with your health history and then assess your movements, postures and range of motion as you walk, sit and stand. I continue to use critical observation, muscle testing and other tools to assess your body throughout your session. I believe that massage is a dynamic therapy that should be done with your input, not something that is "done to you." My goal is to apply the most effective techniques to bring relief and meet your goals for the session - whether that be quiet, peaceful relaxation, or a dynamic session of stretches, myofacial release and deep tissue work.
I have a long history of working in clinical medicine. I hold a Master's Degree in Health Education (MPH) and I'm a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) with years of experience teaching adults on a wide range of health topics. For the past four years I have lived and worked in Marin County providing individualized massage therapy in private homes and health care centers. I most enjoy the process of developing long term relationships with my clients and assiting them with their wellness goals.
"I believe that massage given with attention and intention can provide significant relief of acute or chronic discomfort and produce lasting improvements when therapy is applied consistently."
